FTV and FTSV were founded and are managed by Jon-Erik Borgen.  These alternative investment funds are affiliated with Borgen Investment Group, a single family asset management firm established in 2000. 

Since 2014, FTV.1 and FTV.2 have made direct investments in over 35 companies representing a spectrum of industries. The fund supports these portfolio companies and its founders through close partnerships within the start-up community and through decades of experience in deal structure, financing, and Borgen Investment Group’s capital markets network.

FTSV fund launched in January 2025 with the objective of being a community stakeholder through minority investments in sports leagues around the United States and abroad. To date, the portfolio of holdings include direct team investments in the NWSL, MLS, and Scottish League One football.
