FirstTracks Ventures (FTV) and FirstTracks Sports Ventures (FTSV) were founded and are managed by Jon-Erik Borgen.
Both funds are affiliated with Borgen Investment Group,
a single-family asset management firm established in 2000.

Since 2014, FTV.1 and FTV.2 have invested directly
in more than 35 companies across a range of industries, supporting founders through active partnerships, deep experience in deal structuring and financing, and access to Borgen Investment Group’s capital markets network.

Launched in 2024, FTSV coincided with Jon-Erik and Borgen Investment Group’s co-founding investment and leadership in the successful bid to secure Denver’s 16th NWSL franchise,
Denver Summit FC. The fund focuses on minority investments in sports leagues in the U.S. and abroad, with current holdings including teams in the NWSL, MLS, and Scottish League One.
