DENVER SUMMIT

FirstTracks Sports Ventures is a co-founder and minority owner in Denver Summit FC, Colorado’s first professional women’s sports team set to begin play in the National Women’s Soccer League in March of 2026.

Siblings Jon-Erik Borgen and Kaia Borgen Moritz were key contributors in the early movement and the eventual winning bid to bring an NWSL team to Denver, investing nearly two years into the effort dating back to the Fall of 2022.  Working on the project together with their spouses, Brooke Borgen and Misha Moritz, and their sister Randi, the group’s investment in Summit FC aligns with their family’s commitment to advancing women’s sports, building high-impact organizations, and fostering community through competitive, value-driven ventures. Together with other founding partners and community leaders, the collective aim is to bring world-class soccer and meaningful cultural momentum to Denver and beyond.

The Borgen family has a distinguished legacy of financial, athletic, and philanthropic impact and success in Colorado and beyond. This community-focused investment represents a passion for women’s athletics, elevating opportunities for all, and a commitment to bringing the first professional women’s soccer team to Denver.
